RetroArch has CHT files included with it for each core, and they can be updated using the RetroArch Updater. Response about such an app or web app, or confirmation that there is no such app would be greatly appreciated.Īpology if I used the incorrect Flair for this post. Specifically, what I'm trying to do is take existing CHT files and delete the cheats that I found don't work with the version of a game I possess, to eliminate the need to scroll endlessly through what can be over 300 cheats for some games to find ones that work, and then have an app that renumbers the entries in the CHT file compensating for the ones removed. I've seen multiple places where it says you can manually edit CHT files with text editing apps like Notepad++, and while that is true, some cheat files can still be incredibly hard to follow in Notepad++.īasically, what I'm looking for is if there are any specific apps that have been created that will convert different formats of CHT files in the most basic one that RetroArch uses, and most importantly, can auto-renumber the cheats.
